i’m finally making a post i should’ve made ages ago instead of just leaving my followers in the dark to try to figure out who the fuck shatterstar is. without further ado:

who the fuck is shatterstar?

• he’s from a dimension called the mojoverse which is a dystopia based on reality television. it’s really complicated but let’s leave it at that
  
• shatterstar was created in a lab (will be retconned later but don’t worry about that right now) to fight in the arena slaughter games, which were basically death matches on live television
• he escaped somehow and ended up with a movement to overthrow mojo. who runs basically everything in the mojoverse. that group is called the cadre alliance
• the cadre alliance sent him to earth to find the x men, but that didn’t work out. he just freaked out in the danger room until cable knocked him out
• then he joined x-force

what are his powers?

• WELL.
  
• healing factor
• he learns really fast through watching and hearing things
• he can hum and give off shockwaves through his swords but it exhausts him so he never uses it
• he can teleport but he needs an emotional anchor to help him actually make it to his destination. it also exhausts him and he also has to channel that power through his swords.
• also he’s got hollow bones

why do you love him?

• because he’s GREAT
  
• okay. i’ll elaborate.
• he’s bisexual which is cool (some people say pan but i’m going off what peter david (ugh) said)
• he’s super passionate about movies even if it annoys him that actors don’t actually do the things they do on TV because /he/ actually did all the things he did in the arena
• he’s blunt and overly dramatic and like. deadpans his way through sarcasm which is great
• SWORDS. dual wielding.
• not good at emotions and social skills but he’s trying
